What is Adventure Club?
Adventure Club is a membership for dads, building businesses, who want more adventure.
Our ethos: Good men. Great fathers. Growing businesses.
Members host adventures, weekend missions, day trips and meet ups to get outdoors, make epic memories, fill the tank and grow.
From what we’ve heard there’s a massive desire to get outdoors, do challenging stuff, and meet awesome people.
We felt the same way.
As a father you know the pressure of providing, being present to your kids, staying fit and healthy, etc. while growing your business.
Something epic happens when these people get together who get parenting, and have taken risks to start their own venture.
Enough people asked for it….that we wanted to do something about it.
So this is that space.
Adventures.
What kind of adventures?
Skies the limit.
We already have hunting, snowboarding and hiking trips planned across the South Island.
Other ideas:
Hunting, fishing, boating, tramping, mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding, surfing, 4WDing, camping, white water rafting, kayaking, trail running, bikepacking, alpine climbing, gravel biking, caravanning, caving, hut trips, sailing…
You get the idea.

Connect
We reckon life is best when we’re connected, supported and do the journey together. We genuinely want to get to know you, and have you do that for others.
Give
You’ll get heaps more out if you ask what you can give, before what you can get. Maybe it’s your skills, knowledge or contacts. Maybe it’s a car, batch or a boat that could be used for an adventure. It’ll come back in spades.
Grow
We want you and your business to grow. We’re big on celebrating wins, supporting each other and encouraging each other to step up.
What happens when I join?
1. Apply Below
We’re keen to know ya! When you apply to join there will be a form to get some context. What business are you building? How many kids? What adventures are you into? All that kind of stuff.
2. We’ll Connect You
You’ll get a call from one of the Adventure Club crew to say hey, and connect personally. We’ll make sure it’s a good fit for you. You’ll get added to the private WhatsApp group, and they’ll personally connect you with people they think you’d like to meet (if you want them to). We’re a friendly bunch.
3. Start Adventuring
You can then join your first adventure, or host your own. You can go to as many or as few as you like. We recommend going to at least one and hosting one in a year. At the moment this is just through WhatsApp and as we grow we’ll work out the best way to coordinate things.
Benefits
The unique difference of the Adventure Club is the curation of who’s a part of it. There are huge benefits to connecting, getting outdoors, and pushing yourself by yourself. But when you do it with other dads, running businesses, wanting to get better, amazing things happen.

Plenty of guys we've spoken to prefer making memories out doing something, and often ‘suffering’ together, rather than just having a coffee or a zoom call. (Although a coffee too is great)

Doing something epic together is a great way to connect with like-minded guys. Having being a dad, and business in common makes it unique.

While we don’t pitch each other, naturally collaborations and business opportunities happen as you get to know each other. Whether it’s an idea from a conversation you can apply, or a referral, we want everyone’s businesses to grow.

We become like the people we hang out with. Conversations naturally happen outdoors, and we know some of them will include what it is to be a good man, a great father, and have a growing business. Aiming for those 3 things is normal here.

For the adventures, obviously in person. For communication, we’re currently using WhatsApp for simplicity. It has a main group, and channels. As we grow we’ll work out the best way to communicate with events and chat.

Yes! We envisage some will want weekend adventures or longer, and others will want day adventures, or even smaller - early morning before the kids are up, of in the evenings. Up to you.

2 things. There are new adventures being planned regularly. Find one and plan a trip to be a part of it. Better yet, host your own one where you live, and invite others to travel to you, or find people in your town / city to join and be a part of it.

We’re planning at least 1 all in event a year in the South Island for people to come to if they want. It will be a good chance to meet people face to face, as we then have regular adventures happening throughout the year.

Yes! Ideally as we get started everyone will at least choose to go to 1 adventure, and host 1 adventure. We know the responsibilities of being a dad. You might pick 1 main adventure for the year, and a number of smaller day missions and meetups. Or you might want to do multiple weekend trips. Totally up to you. You don’t have to do them all. But there will be lots of epic ones to choose from over time.

Yes. We have a next tier called Modern Freedom for those wanting to intentionally grow in their personal and professional life. We’re exploring ways of delivering this with things like regular calls with people from around the country, specific retreats / workshops / 4-6 week deep work sprints, challenges, and more. We are shaping this now, so if you’re interested let us know, and we can talk more.
